Active Licences & Registrations
Food Safety & Standards Authority of India. Mandatory food processing and export licence covering the Vadodara facility and all products.
Mandatory registration for Indian exporters. Enables direct cross-border shipment without intermediaries. Required on all export documentation.
Tea Board Export Licence and Buyer Registration. Mandatory for all Indian tea exporters. Covers sourcing, buying, and export of tea under Tea Board oversight.
Authorised Dealer codes registered at both primary export ports. Required for foreign currency remittances against export shipments.
Spice Board Export Registration — the regulatory authority for Indian spice exporters, equivalent to Tea Board for the spice category. Required for export of spices under Spice Board oversight and for accessing Spice Board quality certification programmes.
GST registration for domestic and export invoicing. MSME registration under the Udyam scheme, confirming VSV’s status as a registered Indian manufacturer.
Organic Certification — Ecocert
NPOP Processing and NPOP Trading have both been applied for via Ecocert India. NOP (USA) and EU Organic follow via Ecocert’s dual-certification pathway once NPOP is issued. Inspection completed for NPOP; certificate expected Q2 2026.
Food Safety Standards — Ecocert
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. Systematic preventive approach to food safety addressing physical, chemical, and biological hazards. Active and auditable at the Vadodara facility. Required by most EU and US food importers as a supplier prerequisite.
Good Manufacturing Practice. Documents the operational standards, hygiene protocols, and quality procedures at the Vadodara processing facility. Applied via Ecocert. A standard due-diligence requirement for B2B food supply.
Certified Tea Master licence from the Tea Board of India. Applied; in process. This registration is specific to tea blenders and manufacturers and complements the existing Tea Board Export Licence.
